Length: 8,000 meters (men) / 5,000 meters (women)
Located at Ft. Indiantown Gap, which is a few miles north of campus, Memorial Lake State Park is the home course for LVC’s cross country teams, hosting the LVC Invitational each September for colleges and high schools. Set on 230 scenic acres at the base of Blue Mountain, the course surrounds Memorial Lake, a popular recreation destination for boating and fishing in Lebanon County.
The course layout is 5,000 meters for the women and 8,000 meters for the men. The course is a mix of crushed gravel and grass terrain that runs flat and fast for the first and last mile. The middle miles are rolling and offer a challenge to a runner’s early-season strength. It is a fair cross country course that still allows runners an opportunity to kick off the season with a fast time. The course runs through woods, fields and across a bridge overlooking the dam at Memorial Lake leading into the final mile.
