ANNVILLE, Pa. – After an historic season, Lebanon Valley women's ice hockey's
Jill Moffatt has been named to the inaugural All-Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Team, as chosen by the coaches. Moffatt was named to the First-Team.
Moffatt has had quite the career at LVC after just two years of action on the ice. Last week, when she picked up her sixth save in a game against Chatham, she broke the NCAA Division III single-save record with 1,203, previously held by Johnson & Wales' Kame Weiner back in 2016. Moffatt finished with 1,267 stops this season in 1,278 minutes between the pipes. She finished with a .911 saves percentage and picked up a pair of wins on the season, including a shutout-victory over King's earlier in the season.
The assistant captain made at least 60 saves in a game 12 times, and stopped at least 70 shots in one game six times. Moffatt started all 23 games between the pipes for the Dutchmen and earned back-to-back wins over King's (Pa.) earlier this season.
Stevenson's Chelsea Blackburn and Manhattanville's Nicole Mensi were named Co-Offensive Players of the Year, while Manhattanville's Maeve O'Brien garnered the Defensive Player of the Year award. Stevenson's Trinity Barcless was tabbed the Rookie of the Year, and the Mustangs' Tracy Johnson earned the Coach of the Year award.
