CHESTER, Pa
. - The women's 4x400 set a new program record to lead four event wins for Lebanon Valley at the Widener Invitational on Saturday.

The 4x400, made up of Kristin Fitti-Hafer, Alexa Muffly, Alisha Farrell, and Cynthia Adams, blew away the field by nearly eight seconds, running 3:58.97 to shave 0.18 seconds off the standard set in 2011. It was easily the MAC's top time of the year. Adams later was the top D-III finisher in the 400m dash, running 58.28 for third, just six-hundreths off her personal best, and Fitti-Hafer ran a career-best but wind-aided 15.43 to place fourth in the 100m hurdles.

Farrell went on to win the pole vault, clearing 10-8 for the second time this month, and Cassie Wallen was third at 10-2, only a half-inch under her best. Farrell also placed fourth in the long jump (16-10.75). On the track, Alyssa Miller ran 12:47.85 in the steeplechase to finish seventh

Mariah Smolka won the hammer throw with a 134-0 toss, then threw LVC's best javelin mark since 2003, finishing fourth at 119-9, with Claire Hejnas in seventh with a 104-1. Maurissa Laudeman added an eighth-place 101-6 in the hammer. Taylor Gerchak had a pair of top-10 spots, placing sixth in the triple jump (33-10.75) and 10th in the long jump (15-0).

Michael Harnish ran the MAC's fastest 800m of the season by more than a second, just missing his program-record pace with a 1:52.45. He placed fourth as the top Division III finisher.

Jerome Duncan won the 110m hurdles in 15.21, heading a 1-2 Dutchmen finish with Darryl Sweeper (15.66). The pair also recorded top-10 finishes in the 100m dash, with Sweeper placing fourth in a wind-aided 11.24, and Duncan sixth at 11.34. Kyle Fronk added another hurdle top-10 finish, running 56.56 for fourth in the 400m hurdles.

In the field, Mike Pugh finished fourth in the long jump (20-3.75) and sixth in the triple (39-11.5), and Joe Bennett was fifth in the high jump with a 5-10.75 clearance.
