ANNVILLE, Pa. - For the third time this season, junior
Danny Brooks has earned Commonwealth Conference Player of the Week honors, this time after averaging 18.0 points and 11.5 rebounds last week for Lebanon Valley.
Brooks had previously been named CC Player of the Week on Nov. 22 and Nov. 28.
The junior center averaged a double-double of 18.0 ppg and 11.5 rpg in a 1-1 week for Lebanon Valley. He had 16 points and 12 rebounds against Lycoming midweek, then led LVC with 20 points, 11 rebounds, and four steals in a career-high 38 minutes for a win over preseason favorite Alvernia. Defensively, Brooks held Alvernia's first-team all-CC center Cory Boone to just eight points (including none in the first half).
LVC visits Elizabethtown on Wednesday night.
