Guiles Adds Another All-America Honor

VORHEES, N.J. - Lebanon Valley College running back Ben Guiles has picked up yet another postseason honor, being named first-team all-America by D3ProDay.com.

Guiles, who was also named honorable mention all-America by d3football.com last week, outdid his preseason third-team pick from D3ProDay.com. He is one of the three first-team running backs named, in good company with Levell   Coppage of national champions Wisconsin-Whitewater and Millsaps' Shane Bowser.

Guiles had a superlative senior season as the Middle Atlantic Conference's Offensive Player of the Year. He ran for a MAC-best 1,226 yards and 19 touchdowns as a senior to become LVC's all-time leading rusher and scorer. Averaging 6.4 yards per carry, he has eight 100-yard games, including a season-high 208 yards against Wilkes. A versatile threat, Guiles has also caught three touchdown passes with 243 yards receiving. He ranked fifth in NCAA Division III in scoring with 12 points per game and 24th in rushing at 111.5 yards per game.
