Grant Wiest also batted in two runs.
Junior
Caleb Fick started on the mound for LVC, pitching five innings and recording eight strikeouts.
Lebanon Valley struck early, tallying five runs on three hits in the first inning. With one on base, Zarilla hit a double to center field and an error sent a run across the plate. A hit by pitch loaded the bases and a single up the middle by Deibert scored two runs. Late in the inning, another run scored off a wild pitch and a single by freshman
Andrew Germann sent the fifth run home.
The Dutchmen opened the second inning with back-to-back singles and a triple by Wiest sent both runs across the plate to extend their lead.
Dickinson broke onto the scoreboard in the fifth inning, with a single up the middle by Mike Schuster sending a run home.
Freshman
Lee Krammes, recently named Commonwealth Conference pitcher of the week, came in to start the sixth inning for Lebanon Valley. He pitched two complete innings, allowing just two hits and striking out two.
LVC added to their lead in the seventh inning, scoring four to go ahead by 11 runs. A single from sophomore
Aaron Mills loaded the bases and a double to right center from Zarilla scored two runs. A single by
Jacob Rhody scored another and the Dutchmen tacked on one more before the inning ended.
Junior
Nate Blough pitched the eighth for LVC and held Dickinson scoreless in the inning.
The Dutchmen return to action on Tuesday, March 16 at McGill Field when they host DeSales at 3:30 p.m.
