ANNVILLE, Pa.
- Immaculata scored six unanswered and held Lebanon Valley scoreless for the second half to win, 9-4, in a miserable driving rain at Arnold Field on Saturday.

The Dutchmen (2-1) suffered their first loss of the season as both teams battled gale-force crosswinds and rain. The Mighty Macs (2-2) had a second-half hat trick by Dante Tuscai and another three from Brendan Dineen as they held LVC to 12 second-half shots and no goals.

Brendon Cummings scored twice for the Valley, with Scott Sutton and Ian Schmid adding goals.

Schmid put LVC on top early, but the Mighty Macs went up 2-1 with two quick goals before Cummings knotted the game midway through the first quarter.

Dineen scored to open the second, but LVC responded with goals by Sutton and Cummings to take a 4-3 lead. Dineen tied the game up again at 4-4 with a goal 39 seconds from the half.

LVC opened the second half with a fantastic scoring chance as Ty Fosnacht scooped up a deep ground ball but hit the post in what would end up being LVC's best opportunity of the half.

IU's defense took over from there, forcing 11 second-half turnovers by the Dutchmen as they pulled away on offense. John Cacchio scored the only goal of the third quarter, and Tuscai sandwiched all three of his around Mike Boyd's goal in the fourth quarter.

Ethan Hilberg made seven saves in the loss. Andrew Sim stopped 12 for Immaculata. IU held a 28-26 shots advantage, including 16-12 in the second half.

LVC will host Susquehanna on March 20.
