WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The LVC swimming teams continued their 2010 MAC Championships Saturday, finishing the second day of competition at the Christian Youth Center in Wilkes-Barre.

Through 24 events on the second day, the women remained in seventh place with 144 points, and the men are eighth with 110. The championships will conclude Sunday.

In individual action, Ashten O'Brien came in 12th in the 400 IM in 5:13.60, and Kris Roaten was two spots back in 5:21.53. In the 100 fly, Ally Birli came in 12th in 1:07.30.

Kristen Zartman came in seventh in the 200 free in 2:05.29, and Lisa Niethamer was also seventh in the 100 breaststroke in 1:14.37. Mary Gardner was 10th in the same event in 1:15.15.

In the men's 100 breaststroke, John Heenan was seventh in 1:03.16, and Jeff Bush was 14th in the 100 back in 1:00.06.

In relays, the women's 200 medley relay finished eighth in 2:10.91, and the men's 200 medley relay was also eighth at 1:47.05. In the 800 free relay, the women finished ninth in 9:01.44, and the men were eighth in 7:51.53.
