WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The men's 400 medley relay broke a program record to lead Lebanon Valley on the first day of the 2010 MAC Championships at the Christian Youth Center in Wilkes-Barre.
After the first day of competition, both the men's and women's teams stand in seventh place, with the men scoring 51 points and the women 60. Widener leads the men's team competition at 243.5 points and Albright leads the women's with 200 points.

Tony Shipkowski, and
Johnny Schoenberger was sixth in 3:52.51, taking sixth-tenths off the program record set last year of 3:53.15.
In other relay action, the women's 200 free relay finished seventh in 1:48.26 and the 400 medley relay came in seventh in 4:31.76; the men's 200 free relay was eighth in 1:35.56.
In individual action,
Kristen Zartman was 14th overall in the 500 free in 5:39.77, and Ashten O'Brien was 14th in the 200 IM in 2:26.38.
Kris Roaten was just behind in 16th in 2:30.74.
Lisa Niethamer finished 12th in the 50 free in 26.43, and Bush was 15th in the men's 50 free in 22.93. In the men's 200 IM, Heenan came in 16th in 2:11.27.
The championships continue Saturday and Sunday.
