ANNVILLE, Pa. -
Lebanon Valley broke three program records, including a pair by Kristen Zartman, as they split with Messiah on Senior Day Saturday.

The women won 124.5-79.5, while Messiah won the men's meet 141-51 in what was the final tune-up for both squads before MAC Championships in two weeks' time. The men and women both finish with 6-6 records, the first time in program history they've both been .500 or better in a season, and the best finish ever for the women.

During the meet, LVC honored its 11-member Class of 2010 for their contributions to the program: Lisa Boyko, Alyse Canciello, Rebecca Edwards, Hillary Forsythe, Allison Hunt, Laurel Klappholz, Shannon Neifert, Lisa Niethamer, Kelsey Shoupe, and Melanie Tober for the women, and John Schoenberger for the men.

The meet was highlighted by the men's 400-meter medley relay of Jeff Bush, John Heenan, Tony Shipkowski, and Schoenberger, who broke a 15 year-old program record with a 4:27.88 time, topping the 4:31.78 mark set in 1995.

And, for the third time in a week, Zartman reset her own 200-free record, shaving two-hundreths off with an event win in 2:21.14, then followed it up with a 5:04.60 win in the 400-free to take three seconds off her record in that event.

The Dutchmen racked up a number of event wins, including:

- Ryan Humphries and Patrick Barry were 1-2 in the 800 free in 10:15.29 and 10:47.95, respectively.
- Niethamer won the 50-free in 29.77, then captured the 100 back in 1:16.15.
- Kris Roaten won the 800-free in 10:45.50.
- Ashten O'Brien finished first in the 200-IM in 2:45.75
- Ally Birli and Messiah's Molly Handley touched simultaneously in the 100-fly, both clocking 1:14.77 to share first place.
- Mary Gardner (1:07.04), Charlie Robinson (1:07.13), and Alyson Reitmeyer (1:09.28) went 1-2-3 in the 100-free.
- The women's 200-free relay of Robinson, Zartman, Gardner, and Niethamer won in 2:02.76.
