SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -
Jenn Cronin won the 5,000-meter run and
Zach Bleiler and
Jerome Duncan joined her as medalists as Lebanon Valley College wrapped up the season at the ECAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday.
Cronin, who was also the ECAC indoor 3,000 champion, won by nearly 200 meters, cruising to a 17:38.50 win, just over three seconds off the NCAA provisional qualifying mark. Her time shattered her own school record of 17:56.81 that she set at MAC Championships on May 2.
After running a 15.55 in prelims yesterday, Duncan lowered his PR with a 15.09 to finish fourth in the 110-meter high hurdles, earning a podium finish.
Meanwhile, Bleiler managed to get on the podium by an inch, throwing 146-06 in the discus to grab eighth place, an inch ahead of Keene State's Bryan Kolacz.
LVC had both 4x100 relays in action as well, with the men's team of
Josh Light,
Justin Lee ,
Tyler Cisarik, and Duncan finishing 17th in 43.72, their lowest time of the year, and the women's relay of
Nicole Gallo,
Nicole Barra,
Allix Sanders, and
Johanna Walker coming in 21st in 51.52.
Walker also competed as an individual in the 200, coming in 14th in 26.36.
Joe Meehan turned in the final mark of the day for LVC, placing 10th in the high jump after clearing 6-2 3/4.
