All-East Teams

ANNVILLE, Pa.
- After leading Lebanon Valley to a program-best 9-2 record and the ECAC Southwest Bowl championship, senior left tackle Sean Tetreault and junior defensive end Zach Bleiler have been named First-Team All-East Region by d3football.com.

As first-teamers, both will be eligible for all-America consideration by d3football.com. They are two of five Middle Atlantic Conference players named first-team all-region, and 12 were named to the three all-region teams overall.

The pair of dominating linemen anchored what were statistically the MAC's best rush offense and rush defense units. Tetreault, a three-time all-MAC selection, was selected for the Tazón de Estrellas senior all-star game in Mexico after blocking for an offense that averaged 222 rushing yards per game and 4.4 yards per carry in 2009 with a pair of 900-yard rushers behind him. The 6-3, 295-pound captain anchored an o-line that had the MAC's best run numbers for all four years of his tenure. In pass protection, LVC allowed just 13 sacks in 11 games this year.

On the other side of the ball, Bleiler had a breakout year on the defensive line. A first-team all-MAC selection, the junior dominated the conference with 10 sacks and 13.5 tackles for a loss overall among 50 stops. He also had two pass break-ups. He led a run defense that allowed just 98.4 yards per game and 2.9 yards per carry, and LVC gave up 301 yards of total offense per game overall.
