Buffalo State Tops Ice Hockey
Box Score

HERSHEY, Pa.
- Lebanon Valley got two goals from freshman Matthew Becker, but fell to Buffalo State, 7-2, in non-conference ice hockey action Friday night at Hersheypark Arena.

The Dutchmen (0-12) gave up four power-play goals and two short-handers to the Bengals (5-8-1).

Buffalo State was outstanding on special teams, going 4-for-7 on the power play and killing all seven LVC chances, including a 5-on-3.

Six different players scored for Buffalo State, with D'Arcy Thomas scoring twice.

Both of Becker's goals came in the second period. The first came right off a faceoff in the Bengal end, and Becker scooped up Matthew Kisiday's pass and went left-side on Zach Grasley for the score at 8:55.

Four minutes later, Becker took a feed from Nick Schultz to tally his second.

Aaron Miller made 53 saves off 60 Buffalo State shots; Grasley stopped 31 as LVC took a season-high 33 shots.

The two teams will skate again Saturday at 3 p.m.
