Box Score

GETTYSBURG, Pa.
- Andrea Hoover scored 18 points with seven assists, and Eryn Schultz drained a go-ahead three-pointer with 1:25 left to give Lebanon Valley a 75-68 win over Gettysburg College in the consolation game of the 19th Annual Gettysburg Days Inn Tournament.

The Dutchmen (7-3) shot a program-record 58.3 percent (28-of-48) for the game, topping the previous record of 56.9 percent (33-of-58) set against Widener on Feb. 8, 2003.

Five players reached double figures, with Schultz and Lori Lidlow scoring 15 apiece and Megan Bish and Suzie Noyes each adding 12 points off the bench. Hoover was named to the all-tournament team.

Courtney Fields and Caitlin Moser each scored 13 points for the Bullets (5-5).

The back-and-forth game saw 18 leads changes and five ties, and the result was in doubt until the final two minutes when LVC took the lead on Schultz's three-pointer with 1:25 remaining. The Dutchmen went 6-for-8 at the line over the final 48 seconds to hold on for the victory.

After LVC jumped out to a quick seven point lead, Gettysburg caught up and the two teams traded the lead throughout the first half, with neither team leading by more than a bucket until Lidlow's jumper put LVC up five with 2:03 to go. Allie Drechsler's late three-pointer put Gettysburg down 33-31 heading into the half.

It was more of the same in the second until the Dutchmen hit a 9-0 run early in the half to swing a three-point Gettysburg edge into a six-point lead at 49-46. The Bullets answered back with a 6-0 spurt of their own, capped by Moser's fastbreak layup, to retake the lead.

The teams traded the lead eight times over an eight-minute span, with another Moser layup putting Gettysburg on top 67-66 with 1:43 left. After an LVC timeout, Schultz came out and drained a three-pointer, and fter Fields missed a jumper, Gettysburg had to foul to send Hoover to the line with 48 seconds to go.

Hoover made both free throws to make it a two-possession game, and LVC held Gettysburg without a field goal over the final minute to seal the win.

LVC will head to Arcadia University for its Commonwealth Conference opener Tuesday night at 6 p.m.a
