Andrea Stetler Teats Class of 1997

Induction Class of 2010
Field Hockey

An All-American for LVC's first NCAA Final Four squad in 1996, Andrea Stetler Teats led the Dutchmen to unprecendented success over her four-year career. As a senior in 1996, Teats scored a team-high 20 goals as LVC won a then-record 16 games (including a record 12 shutouts) and made the first of the program's four NCAA Final Four appearances. That season capped a run that saw LVC qualify for the NCAA Tournament three times in four years. After her senior year, Teats was named third-team all-America, first-team all-region, and first-team all-MAC, and was also named to the NCAA Final Four team. She also holds the LVC record for the fastest hat trick, with three goals in the first minute against Haverford in 1996.

Following graduation, Teats continued to play, and was earned the Outstanding Amateur Athletic Achievement Award at the 2004 Keystone State Games. She has been involved in coaching high school,
Keystone, and Futures programs, including as head coach at Midd-West High School, where she is a geography teacher.
